Review: Pivot Point is a book I've wanted to read since I first saw the cover. That's a super cool cover, isn't it? You're thinking, what could that be about? Then you read the synopsis and the main character can search into the future? How's that going to work? Where's the plot in that? Really though, I went into this book with no expectations at all and finished practically screaming. (I did scream and freak out about it to my friend on twitter). The book is that good!
However, based on the synopsis you'd think it'd be more paranormal, but it's not. It's really more contemporary with paranormal elements. I was really looking forward to seeing more of their powers in play but only Addie's is. Speaking of which - there could've been a better transition from one part of the story to the next, I remember getting almost halfway in and being pretty confused about what was happening before I had a huge AHA! moment.
Regardless of my tiny complaints, I'd recommend this book to anyone. I even made my mom read it!
