Mara Dyer doesn’t think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
It can.

She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.

There is.

She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.

She’s wrong.

Review: I finished this one at the beginning of November last year so it's been months and I still have to find the motivation or interest to read the second. Mainly because of the ending. It had a plot twist that was so cliche and predictable yet I hadn't thought of it at all. I'm fairly certain my subconscious didn't want to even acknowledge it as a possibility, it's that annoying.

However, the rest of the book was very intriguing and well written despite the perfect-rich-hot-boy-savior. You know, the "hot" popular boy swoops in to save the weird troubled girl from herself? Yeah, that. This book is pretty much that in 300 or so pages. It was nice despite the incredible Edward Cullen vibe.
If you're looking for a quick read about a crazy girl going through crazy things trying to figure out a crazy answer, this book is for you!

Rating: 4/5 stars.
